Poppets Play Place is a parent supervised indoor play area for children up to age 7. It is a place in our community where children can participate in physical activity that encourages energy release, less screen time, imaginative play, and group and independent play while helping develop social skills, problem-solving skills, and language development. It is also a spot where parents/caregivers can gather and socialize, enjoy free wifi, charge your phone, or meet new friends that are in similar stages in their lives. Our charming coffee bar has beverages available for purchase. We offer open play, weekly activities, special events, and a private party room for celebrations!
We are a family-owned business located in the West End Shopping plaza beside Hurricane Bikes, Goodwill, and Faith Promise Church in Farragut, TN. We are delighted to offer a soft play area that includes a large netted play structure and various soft play toys on foam flooring, all BPA+ and Phthalate-free. Additionally, we feature a "Crawlers and Cruisers" zone specifically for children who are, as the name suggests, crawling and cruising. Our entire facility undergoes daily cleaning with non-toxic disinfectants to ensure a safe, hygienic, and enjoyable play environment.
For safety and hygiene, children must wear gripper socks. These socks are available for purchase at $3 per pair and can be washed and reused for subsequent visits. Parents may opt for shoe covers or socks. Heels and hard-soled shoes are not permitted on the play area.
Our venue provides an event room available for private party rentals. We offer different party packages to ensure you can find what you need, from do-it-yourself decorating and food to fully-themed, all-inclusive parties where we handle all the details for you.
We are Michael & Victoria, and we live in Farragut, TN. We are new grandparents, known as Nonnie and Grampy, to our new grandson. After our daughter visited a facility like this where she lives, we felt like it would be a great addition to our community. Victoria, an East Tennessee native, is an RN at a local hospital and previously worked as a child counselor for school children up to the third grade. Michael, originally from Dublin, Ireland, moved with his family to England at age seven, where he received his education and went to college. He was the brains behind the name Poppets Play Place. Poppet is a term used in England for a sweet child and used as an affectionate form of address. Michael is now retired. Prior to retirement, he worked and lived all over the world as an engineer teaching and educating young engineers. He loves living in East Tennessee, and has called it home for over 20 years. In 2022 he got his U.S. Citizenship, and now he loves being an American!
